What squadron was the KC-10 out of? I used to be with the 70th Air Refueling Squadron out of Travis A.F.B.

No idea. Great way to travel. They just showed up at Misawa AB and off we went.

Did that in H-53's off of C-130's; day and night. Always a fun experience.

I took a hop once from California to my home base McConnell afb in Wichita Ks. And we refueled a b-52 at night over Texas-Oklahoma I was allowed to lay next to the boom operator and watch. We were in a kc-135r. The most awesome experience ever!

Cool, I commented on your vid...I used to load munitions on 15s back at Holloman years ago...the "travel pod" on the left wing is a napalm shell, usually stuffed with pilots luggage and golf clubs....neat video!!
