Yes, same deer, look at the shape of the brow tines, also, he carried that scar over from last year, you can still see it on his left hip.

Not older than six, could be 5.5 this year but I think he is gonna be 4.5.

I could agree with the 4.5, but I don’t think he is 5.5, as of last year. I just never saw 4.5 last year from him after multiple sits.

Updated picture. Looks like the drop might be forming on the end of his right beam. This buck amazes me on how much more growth he has compared to our other bucks on the place.

Nice, in for the progress.

Obviously you know your deer better than I do, but I think in the first pic he is definitely 4.5. Even looks like he already has callous' on his knees already, which on our place you never seen until at least 4.5/5.5.

But then again what the heck do I know, I'm just a redneck who likes to sit in the brush with a gun or pointy stick.

Nice buck and that last pic sure indicates a mature head... big white circles around the eyes, mature pedicles, deep jaw line... Like posted, you know your deer better than any of us, but from the pics I see, I wouldn't be surprised if he's 6+ now.
