ID:	24543179Here are a few things I make from some of my javelina. Leg bone piece pipe. Little bit of turquoise inlay ( hard to see in pic) I know some of you will hate it.

            Hahaha

            I say gloves and boots.
Ostrich skin is thin and lasts forever.

I never would have thought of this but I actually like it. Now I gotta go kill a javi

                  Leather

Know a guy who makes self bows who says javi hides make great leather. Not sure what he uses the leather for but he has no interest in pig hides.

                  Critter69, those are sweet!

I’ve always thought the rugs look good hung on the wall.

Seen a leather shotgun shell holder that had Javi hide accents. Was pretty cool.

So I got the hides back with thee hair on. North Texas Tannery did an amazing job. Their hair is like thin porcupine hair, very course but a cool color. I really have no idea what to do with them (2). The hair is long too. For now they are a table topper on our trophy room bistro table. I'm not thinking they would make a good bikini for the wife.

So is the scent gland cut off and the hole stitched back? Those things smell, bad.

They must be as they smell like Neat's foot oil and not the skunky smell when we shot them.
