First attempt at Damascus knife

So this has been my first knife from Damascus.
The Damascus billet came from Alabama Damascus.

Going to finish it out with carbon fiber bolsters and desert Ironwood.

What's with the pattern difference between the blade and handle? Looks good to me though and it should finish out nicely. I like what you're doing with the handle.
