I’m about half deaf, and the other half ain’t too good. I literally have been reading lips since a massive ear infection at age 14. I cannot tell what most people are saying with these stupid masks on so I have to have them repeat themselves two or three times. I only wear one going to the doctor or the hospital, that’s about the only places I’ve seen that will actually not let you in without one.

Interesting, what tribe are the Indians from?[emoji1018]

Yep, crazy now days the first thing out of people’s mouths is “where is your mask?” Not “how are you?” “Hi, how’s your day”...nothing, absolutely ridiculous. I work at the airport and people are not polite, no talking, looking or coming close. Won’t say thank you when you hold a door for them, won’t return a hello, nothing...I don’t ever wear a mask so I’m sure it’s part of it, but it’s gotten way too out of control, wake up people.

This is not the only place this topic of conversation has come up. It's interesting to see the reactions, both out on the street/trail and back at the water cooler where people talk about it. My mom gets irritated if people don't respond.
It depends on the venue whether I say hi or not-- if it's walking around the neighborhood with my wife and the dogs then everyone gets it and if they don't respond I don't worry about it-- figure they've got earbuds in or something.
If I'm running around Town Lake I don't say hi usually because I probably pass a few thousand people in my 5-10 mile loop. Down around Town Lake I'd guess maybe 5% of people wear masks.

I have a trail I run on 4 days a week. I don't even carry a mask. I see a full range. Cyclists wearing one and some don't. Walkers who wear one and those who don't. A few that will have it half off until I get close then they put it on until I pass. I don't think I ever see a runner wear one.
I really don't pay close enough attention to figure out how many of each I see.
