Here was the message I sent to this “journalist”:

“Your VF article is comical, at best.

You salivate to Beto, much like the journalist of your kind did to Obama in 2007 due to his “ability to fill stadiums, command attention in both traditional and social media, sell T-shirts, suck in small-dollar donations, stir up genuine excitement among millennials...”

What did those 8 years of Obama give to Americans? What large accomplishments of Obama’s can you name for me? Other than dividing an entire country, weakening us on the world stage, exploding race relations and choking out the economy to near death, what good did he do? Oh... he filled stadiums.... sold t shirts... hyped up millennials. That really got us far. Your version of Beto from 2007 is the reason Trump is in office to begin with.

He doesn’t stand a chance in Texas or on the Main Stage. He’ll get chewed up and spit out like an In-N-Out burger on a boycott day.

I listened to a conversation yesterday with several 20 something year olds at a welding/fab shop on the east side of SA that I service.

They think the "Beto" sign is cool, but sounded like they dont vote because its a "waste of time and its all rigged", and of course Trump sucks because he is a millionaire and a hater.

I interrupted the conversation and asked them how the shop was doing, "we been working overtime since the beginning of the year and I am doing pretty good, we have a lot of work forecasted as well".

My reply to them, "Yeah I remember a few years ago when y'all got hired that there was serious doubts you would become full time because the economy sucked, I wonder what changed to get all this work.

I got this answer from one of them, "yeah but he hates people and wants to build a wall".
