" Hunting quail, turkey, raccoons, bobcats, foxes, and coyotes is prohibited at this time." - from the site link above.

There are 2 pemit types. (There is no "general year round hunting permit" to my knowledge.)

Archery deer (deer and hogs only)
Small game (dove, rabbit, squirrel, duck)

You can submit your applications starting today! Anyone fill one in yet?
Looks like they changed it from four member teams to three members teams.

If you're exempt from the draw you cannot be on a team.

Not even if you lose the exemption like in the past?

Anybody ever heard of any Mountain Lions at LG

I know this is a little off topic but I was white bass fishing at Tejas this spring and I found a track that looked like it should have been from a big cat(no claws and large and of course more round. The bottom of the pad is a little different from canines. I have been around them at our ranch since the 90's and have positively identified their tracks several times and had several visuals and have lost quite a few animals to them.

It had just rained and there were of course some dog tracks along that main trail. This set I followed for several hundred yards and then it left the trail up into the hills. I asked the caretaker and she said she had one guy out there this fall that swears he saw one in that area but you know how that goes. Anyways just curious and figured ya'll would be a good group to ask. Thanks.
