Primarily a target, but it will work for deer. A buddy shot a doe with my rifle and this load a couple days ago to test it out. Worked well, about a 40 yard run after the shot with a high double lung hit that caught the back side of off shoulder on the way out.

I am headed to academy here in a bit. My gun (RAP) loves this round, had a 3 shot group the other day of less than 3/8".

Very true. I had asked him to take a similar shot if presented, as I wanted to see how the bullet would perform. My son got drawn for the deer/ exotic youth hunt at Garner SP next month and I want to use this round. Needed a test done with it prior though. No worries now. He will neck shoot anyways.
