3 spacers in but not clamped. Need to borrow more clamps from pops. Put it on the floor to try and level out the bottoms of the sides and spacers for better fit. Wondering about gaps in the bows to floor. Both sides are about equally curved. Not sure if this is supposed to be truly flat bottomed or if it will have the curve. Not too worried right now. Still need to install the chines before I'm ready to fit the bottom. Chines are cut and ready cypress wood. Not sure when that will happen. Might get a chance to start it tomorrow, might not.

Got clamps on all the spacers. Put it back on the saw horses, bottom up. The sides are bowing outwards between the spacers and the ends. If i put a little weight on the bow stems it will settle like it should. Not sure how this will work when it's time to attach the bottom. Will deal with that when the time comes. Still have to get the chines in first.

The stems should be off the floor like that, it's called rocker and allows the boat to turn. In swamps you want more, in open water you want less. 1 1/2" - 2" is decent.

Cool. I figured it was probably supposed to be like that but wasnt 100%. Wasn't sure how it would affect the stability for standing

First chine in, glued, nailed, and clamped. Learning curve. Didn't have them planed down and sized right. Helps to thoroughly read instructions sometimes. Still had to plane the corners down more to get them bending evenly.

Unfortunately no. Got behind in this class and had a test last weekend. Now my house is being sold from underneath me so we have to get ready to move back onto the farm for a while. Looks like this is on hold until things settle down
