What’re you shooting out of that thing bullet wise? Just bought my brothers AR for my girlfriend to reach out on some hogs with and I want to swipe a few doe with it.

Some bullets I got at a gun show back in the early 90’s. They might be Viet Nam era. Who knows. [emoji12]

Neck shot this axis, last weekend, with a hornady black .223 75gr. bthp. One shot and DRT. The bullet lodged just under the skin at the point of the off shoulder.
The neck shot always puts them down for me, but I'm always ready to put another shot into the vitals while they are down or if they recover and get up...always be ready for that follow-up shot/s if needed. [emoji106]
