Verlander has pitched one game. Went 6 and gave up a run. Astros won it 3-1. Verlander got the W.

Maybe he will stabilize the rest of the rotation some. That lineup is too stacked to stay cold for long. They just need the pitching to get right, and have a cornerstone stronger than Keuchel.
