Big bertha #3 - protein feeder

Began work on my hunting partner's protein feeder for west texas. He had a bunch of scrap pieces and old sheet metal that we are utilizing to put it together to save on cost. A little more work and time by piecing it together, but should turn out nice. Should hold around 1,000 pounds once done.

That sucker looks heavy. But it should last at least 1 lifetime.

It's actually pretty light considering. The funnel portion pieces were thicker, but like I said, we are using drops so haven't spent a dollar yet. It should turn out really nice once it's all finished.

Looks nice, especially just using scrap stuff.

The short tube is 32" and the other 2 are 40".... Should cover all the basis. One more day worth of work and she will be done.

If my cubic inch math is correct, she will hold 1,250 pounds of corn or about 1,100 pounds of protein.

Should have put baffles in it and a spinner setup in the middle for corn. Lol.
