You are having the same question on this buck as I did on the thread I have going about a Dimmitt county buck. I agree with others that he is young but also understand that sometimes those really old bucks almost revert back to looking like 3.5 yr olds. They can sometimes fool you, especially in the summer.

In person it is easy to tell the difference.

Post mature deer walk like an old man........period. They also move with focus and intention.

Young deer move like the wind and wander like the wind as well.

I'm glad yall said it. I was thinking the same thing earlier today and it has been bugging me.

I don't see any sagging skin, but he just doesn't look young to me. Maybe it's the pics on the phone.
