Folks I'm going to say this is one of the colder hunts I've ever sat with a bow. Hands hurt and nose running constant. But at 5:15 a good doe came in to feed. She finally gave me a slightly quartering shot. I wish I could say it was perfect. It was not. But it was good enough. She went about 175 yards but the further she went the more she bled. I should have given her a little more time as she could still lift her head when I found her but she couldn't get up. This time I have the bloody arrow and the doe. I'm here alone so forgive the bad pic. I'm going to field dress her and take her home. I will get the wife to take one or two in the daylight tomorrow morning.
