            3. Left one after 12 years around Teague to go to the hill country. One for 5 years in Harper then the ranch sold. This last one going on 8 years but that ranch is up for sale also.

Two....the one I'm currently one for over 10 years now. The property owners have changed the landscape the past few years and its not for the better i'm afraid but the price is still right so on I go.

1, but this is our first year leasing since we never had time to dedicate to a lease before.

1 lease. My grandfather got it in the fifties, my dad got on in the early 70's and I got on in the 90's

6 leases since we started hunting in Texas

2001, 2002, 2003: only did a 5 day meat doe/spike hunt each year in Mason as we could not find an actual lease.

2004, 2005: Rusk County. No deer in east Texas!

                              2006, 2007, 2008: Brownwood. Land sold.

2009, 2010: Comanche County. Land up for sale. Too many sheep on the land.

2011: No lease. Worst year EVER!

2012, 2013: Coleman County. Landowner passed away.

2014, 2015, 2016: Hamilton county. Too many hunters, too many pigs, not enough deer.

2017, 2018: McCulloch County. Still there and no plans to change that anytime soon.

We have hunted on the same property for 20 years but we are on our second property owner. I guess that could be 1 or 2 leases depending on how you look at it.
