Clay target slinger receiver mount
Great minds think alike.
I built one similar a few years back. We've enjoyed it quite a bit. It helps pass the time when birds aren't flying.

Mine doesn't recoil cery much. It is a really old thrower. My Grandpa bought it in the 60's, and had it mounted on his welding rig. He was a traveling pipeliner, so shooting some clays was his evening entertainment.
I remember pulling it back and loading it for him and my Dad before I was old enough to shoot a shotgun.
He gave it to me back in the 90's, and I elected to refinish it, and built this mount.
I wanted to make it far enough out that you could sit on the tailgate and comfortably operate it, and still be out of harms way.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately...
