My name is Jeff and I’m an idiot, went to the range to shoot this morning and decided to try my buddies new release. Somewhere in between figuring out the release,talking to the guy next to me about his upcoming elk and just being a little tired because the coffee hadn’t kicked in decided to let the bow go without knocking an arrow 🤦🏻*♂️. The bow looks ok for the most part except the string which is toast but I won’t know for sure until the bow shop opens at noon. Worst part is I leave September 7 for my Archery elk hunt. Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious. I’m an idiot, thanks for letting me vent
