Granger WMA Deer Thread 2017-2018

My son and I were on doe patrol out at Granger WMA this morning! We saw lots of deer and hogs. We could have doubled up on does, but my 5 year old got a little antsy when he saw the deer. (He scared half the deer off!!!) Oh well. we had a good time!

Doe #2 down this morning!!!

Knocked down doe #2 this morning. Granger buck tag in my pocket!! 38 deer (39 was coming in after me) all does. Looks like about 10-12 people with buck tags. Can't wait for the rut!!!

They should have given you a ticket with a sample # on it, dont' expect results to be back for months, last one I had done deer was killed in december results weren't posted until late spring... you check it here https://tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/wild.../test-results/

I emailed Derrick, he takes the head and gets the sample and sends it in for us. he will have your test number for the web site if you want it from him.
