    North Houston-area trailer dealers?

The company I work for is looking to either buy a new gooseneck equipment trailer or fix up our old one. Can anyone recommend a dealer or a shop around Houston that could help with both?

The old one needs a good bit of tlc. New tires, new floor boards, hubs repacked/possibly replaced, brakes checked and possibly replaced, and wiring redone. Most quotes I have seen so far are north of $3k.

New prices seem all over the place. $3800-$6500 for a 20’ lowboy with two 7k pound axles.

    In for this one...

I am in the same boat on a smaller size. Once I got the price to redo mine, I figured I might as well just buy a new one.

I bought a 20’ lowboy bumper pull from sports chassis/featherlight on 1488 near 45. Smooth transaction.

X4 on Trout. I’ve bought 3 trailers from them. Great people, prices, and service.

I know this doesn’t help you, but I bought a 2018 24’ PJ Lowboy two years ago for $4700. About the best deal I found. This was in west Texas though.

I bought a trailer from Trailer Wherl and Frame last year...great service, would buy from them again. I price shopped a bit and everything was within a few hundred dollars.

I have a trout trailer. Great people, average trailer. Mine was made by tiger...

I bought a lone star from nationwide trailer. Also, average or maybe a bit above average.

If you’re going to buy new, Gator and PJ make a heck of a trailer. My next will be one of those.

If you want them rebuilt.... I’d do it for $2999.
