I have seen a few dark ones but only one I have seen that was almost black was early one morning driving to Buffalo on 79, I saw what I think was a coyote in a small opening in the creek bottom between oak wood and Buffalo. Can't confirm it was a yore but slim chance it was anything wlse

I have. We had two on our place in North Smith County. I connected with one during archery and missed the other during a joy ride at the lease. I have him in the freezer ready for a full body mount as well. Then this spring we shot one again in Smith County, southern part, during a varmint calling competition.

99% sure I caught one here in steel trap and it got tangled around a small cedar and broke drag chain

Never saw yote or trap again
