Advice on giving it to the girlfriend???

So my wife is an Aggie so I ended up doing the proposal differently than I had thought I would do it. I proposed on her ring day under the ring. She got two diamond rings in one day and it was in front of LOTS of people.


My original plan was to get one of those "viewcaster"(I think that's what it's called?) toys where you look through the binocular type things and put in a disk and click the slides. Anywho get two of those and go on a picnic. Have a disk custom made wife friends and family on it and have them holding up various signs like "Will" "You" "Marry" with the last slide have me holding up a sign that says "me?". By the time she reads all that I would've already been on one knee.

Never got to use it! So it's yours if you want it.

Pretty cool idea. She loves cheesy toys and puzzles

and very important you follow my directions

don't do it when she expects. . . . those anniversary dates and such that much hinting she may not know but she's expecting.

do make a big deal about it . . . from now to the end of the ceremony this is about her . . . not you. Thats part of what you learn in marriage.

the scripture is awesome . . do something that solidifies your relationship in God.

and second most important and a MUST

get rid of those trashy burgundy shirts and go get LSU Purple and Gold

You're telling me!!! I still don't know how in the world I managed it. Well, I do, but that's something that is our inside story that we keep between us!

Here is one of my favorite pics. Not because it's some trip or event. But bc of what she did. My family cancelled thanksgiving last minute and I had to break the news to her. Now we have a big family dinner. Usually 30+ people. I have a large family of aunts, and uncle, and cousins. So when she found out my dad wasn't doing thanksgiving and was going to be sitting at home with my step mother she ran to the store and bought enough food to feed an army. We went to his house and she slaved for 9 hours making stuffed turkey and all the fixings bc she wanted him to have a great thanksgiving.
