We had a similar situation in RR county, my uncle called and reported it and haven't seen the GW since. He is still the county GW but is trying to transfer to a new county We have always been nothing but respectful towards all GWs but when they disrespect us it makes it difficult.

Don't get me started on him... I duck hunted in Delta county for years and could tell you done stories that make the O.P.'s story sound like child's play...

He's part of the reason I quit duck hunting so much.

Wow, I work for the agency and that is severe attitude and entirely uncalled for. Why would it matter if a hunter has legally taken a deer or any game, tagged it properly, etc. and left - there's no reason to threaten the other individual's in camp or even have the hunter return to camp.

I'll be interested on how this comes out.

And I was there for most of them. If he gets transferred again, it will be the 3rd (4th?) time. Piece of "work".

There used to be a maniac game warden in Hamilton county several years back as well. He'd go on a tear yelling and screaming, turn bright red and was completely out of control. Story goes that he finally had a massive heart attack on the job, and died instantly.

First time I ran across him, we were dove hunting a cut field of milo, and he was threatening to haul everyone off to jail for hunting over a baited field.

He was the first game warden I ever saw behave like that, nearly 25 years ago now and I still remember him.
