passed on a doe to shoot at a nilgia, only to miss..... Was going to shoot a doe the next morning and D-loop broke when i was drawing. Saw about 3 or so more nilgai but could never get close enough. saw a few more deer too.

My daughter got drawn for Choke Canyon North Shore youth rifle hunt. Only thing, its the same weekend as shotgun hunt at East Lake that I already paid for. She said she would pass so daddy could go hunting here. Thanks, Sarah. Luv YA!!

I've hunted there 2 of last 3 seasons. Both times I've had nilgai cows and does come out, but 75-100 yds away. I'll post updates when hunt comes around.
