Take your wife into town and have a steak at LOCAL. Good food and good service. Also, Sidewinders Tavern has a jumbo pretzel with pizza toppings that is too good to pass up. Fly fishing in Driggs, ID, just across the pass, is amazing. Float the Teton River Canyon for fishing and views one can barely comprehend. It is one of my favorite places to visit.

Ride the bobsled at the ski resort in town. It runs in the summer.

my wife and i went up to Jackson for a wedding last year in August. we went back this year nearly the exact same day only we had a little change.

Went up there a few weeks earlier last year, great place to visit. I hadn't been there since I was a kid.....smoke from the fires was the only downfall. We camped in a little campground on the back side of the elk reserve, in the morning we would drink our coffee looking out across Jackson valley to the Tetons.

yea, the haze was bad this year. actually really glad we took tons of pictures last year. only on the last full day after it rained were we able to see the Tetons really well.

We went on trail ride and the guide said last week was hazy from the smoke. It was very clear this week.
