I hunt near silver and it’s been kinda slow for us.

I'm in Robert Lee this week... got in the stand at 3:45 this afternoon and saw pigs at 3:55, a small 2.5 y/o 8 pt came to the feeder @ 5 pm and that was it!

I was sweating in the stand but around 4 pm the winds cooled off a bit. Gonna hunt hard in the morning. Hopefully the bucks will be moving.....

We are off 1904, just north of the dam...

Lots of young bucks moving this morning. Only saw 2 does and several dinks... weather was good though

I head back Friday morning. This was a quick trip but hope to be back down during the Christmas break with the daughters.

Does were moving again this afternoon. It was windy (15-20MPH). Only one buck came thru, a small 9 pt. Probably 3.5 y/o. I hunted from 1:30 pm till dark. Pigs came out at 5:15 so yea that was me you heard shooting....

2.5 LOL! one is at B&K, one is hit hard but ran off to die, the 1/2 is hit but will probably survive...

i will probably go back to that same area again tomorrow.

Good! Bucks were moving! Saw a couple of young ones fighting.

Saw an up and comer and another I would like to see closer.... He was 400 yards away and looked Good!

Ended up with the pig and a doe. I actually came home yesterday around lunchtime.

I plan to take the girls over Christmas break and let them shoot a deer each....
