    back yard shop pic heavy

I have posted up a few different threads requesting information/sourcing for this project. I wanted to put up a specific thread for the project. It is a 30 x 30 inside with 30 x 20 covered carport. Primary use is for hobby projects like the restoration project of a 69 c-10 for my son. The wife and I have wanted this for years, and we finally decided to pull the trigger this spring as we get closer and closer to being annexed by the city of Georgetown. I am currently waiting on doors and for it to dry out so I can unload the mill and lathe I acquired for it. It has been a learning experience. Here are some pics of the project to date.

Yeah. Wasn’t happy they didn’t put plastic down as requested. They did put the beams in deeper and wider than quoted though.

              I noticed that to.

how well will the cement do?
guessing since nothing super heavy will be on it, its cool to do.

didn't even know you could do that.

You can do it but you generally put plastic to keep moisture out. May not be an issue in Georgetown but over here in ETX I think you would have wet concrete most of the time.

I bet I have an idea of what might be produced on that mill and lathe.....

                            Awesome shop!

One of our shops didnt have plastic. It was terrible, soaking wet concrete, mold, mildew. It worked fine for storing farm equipment, not good for much else.
