I love it, but I would have a problem if I built one like this...my wife would want to go with me to the stand all the time. right now the cold ***** rock on top of a metal bucket keeps her out of my open air hunting "blind".

Very nice stand I hope you and your children enjoy the great outdoors for many years. I still have fond memories of my Mom and Dad taking me and sitting in our old wood blinds, of course none were nearly this nice.

That looks awesome. I like the idea of a bed especially for hunting hogs. The hogs on my land don't come out until its very late..or early depending on how you look at it. I hunt in open air tree stands. One thing I like is that I can hear every bush shake, every twig break and leaf crunch as the deer/hog comes out of the brush. Being inside a blind, does it reduce your hearing?
