The tournament runs April 11-14.

The field is set except for a possible addition of the winner of the Valero Open. Three holes ago this looked like it would be Corey Conners. There was a rupture in the gas line bordering holes 6,7,8 and CC is gasping for air. He has squandered a 4 stroke lead and is now tied for the lead. Just missed the green and the wheels are coming off.
He needs his looper to step in and take a couple of swings for him.

RULES:

* Pick 6 players for your team. After the final round we will total your 4 best scores for the 4 rounds for your team’s score.

* Losers send Ol'Abe to the winner

* Team entry dead line **** Wednesday April 10, at 12 midnight.

* if you want to change a pick on your team.
**** It must be (1 player named and added) for (1 player named and removed) by Wednesday midnight***
note: If you have a player on your team who does not start the tournament then that player has really put the screws in you because he cannot be replaced.

* Playoff - Playoff rules to be announced and it will be some version of the RDM method. The final rule will be a blind draw from the official hat so there will be only one winner.

CC update... Lost another shot on #9.

Well CC found some fresh air and birdied 3 in a row and back in the lead.

Trying to be the first Monday qualifier to win a tour event since 2010 I think. The win will get him in the Masters.

CC gets it up and down for a par out of the bunker again. Third par of the round. Within spitting distance of the hole on the 16th. Might get another birdie...got it!

2 shots clear with 2 to play. I haven’t seen this many birdies since I played a practice round with RTP at the 2017 TBH Open at Fossil Creek.

Unbelievable win by CC at the Valero. Had to qualify on Monday to get in the tournament this week.
He fills the last spot in the field for the Masters.

I listened to the No Laying Up podcast with Jordan. It was very insightful. I am pulling for him but man it can be hard to watch him play right now.

Who is Jorden?

I always thought he was a Denis Watson who lasted a few years instead of 4 weeks He does not have as big a comeback to make as Tiger but it may be more difficult.
