Need Help looking for a Mcmillan Mcwoody

Any of you guys know where any mcwoodys are? I need a LA for a 5.5 contour 375 h&H stiller action (rem clone) pretty quick. Looking for something in a HTG, hunter, safari, or other hunting style stocks. I cannot find one anywhere. Need it by the beginning of march. shoot me a pm if you know where one is.

    Thanks!

will be like finding a "needle in a haystack" if the needle actually exists

very few McWoody's are produced, compounded with a specific stock model

best option is to call McM and see what they have in their inventory

I have no doubt you can find that stock, but in a different color option

edit: personally, I'd go with this stock

Rem 700 LA BDL, McM Hunter stock, magnum barrel contour, $565

I've owned 3 of the McM Hunter stocks and they are VERY comfortable

    * sorry for the large pic, direct copy from the McM website

I will say that when I ordered my McMillan stock, I was quoted 5 months wait time. It showed up at my door in less than 6 weeks. Sometimes they are pretty fast.

Yes sir, all I shoot is mcmillan now. The mcwoody isn't hard to come by any more. They started selling that marble again. I actually have one. I'm simply trying to find one thats in stock or available somewhere.

call Stocky's and see what's in their inventory as they order lots of McM stocks

When I last spoke to D1ck Davis @ McM , he informed me that < 5% of all stocks ordered were in the McWoody pattern. That color was discontinued in the mid 90's and brought back as an option around 2011.

I'll ask my contacts and see if I can find any leads on stocks for you

Just a thought. if having a wood grain finish on a Mc Millan is that important and you cant find one on short notice just buy you a stock and have it dipped. Have seen some that looked really nice.
