Well, that’s a wrap. Struck out this year, but that’s how it goes. Will be curious to see how many deer were checked for the hunt. This is my fourth year, second consecutive, to hunt this. It’s always a challenge. Ended up seeing 9 bucks. The best was a 150-160 class 10 point we saw while scouting. Saw one other legal buck running with a doe in a thicket, but couldn’t get a shot. The rest were small bucks that wouldn’t make regulations. It was still a blast, and am already looking forward to next year:
