        48 hours of drying and into the grinder. This stuff is spicy! Worked out great.

              I grow all kinds of peppers and grind them all up and make kind of a surprise flavor. And yes, a little goes along ways when it's fresh.

                Folks remember you are not using life extending chemicals.
                I would freeze in tiny amounts and figure any bag opened would be good for 14 days - - maybe..............

                  Out of curiousity, what are the risks? I just did a bunch of jalapeƱos and chili tepins that I smoked in my smokehouse and then dried. I never really thought of an issue with dried peppers, much like the person above who threaded them together.
