Busted a cow at 0800 today, moving shot at 60 yards. Tracked her for half a mile, then she sewed up and lost trail in tall grass. Wind and sun was drying blood quick..Comment

Had a good encounter with a pope and young class doe, she came trotting out this AM near cayo atascosa, she had the sun in her eyes and couldn't see or smell us, she worked her way downwind of us and stopped about 50 yards away and caught our scent and peeled out right as my wife was about to press the trigger and she didnt get a shot off. Even a doe can get the adrenaline going in an encounter like that.Comment
