Best tamale ever is brisket/green chile. Next best one is venison(Neck) and pork. I have had dessert tamales and they are good as well.

I got a buddy I went to visit in Arkansas. We get up one morning, and when I asked what was for breakfast, he says “biscuits and chocolate gravy”. I turned my nose up at him and told him he was crazy.

Turns out it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten!!!!!
