Yes sir, it is still masa but it's a sweet flavored masa. I think she uses chicken boulien to flavor the regular masa. They are actually pretty good!

My mom still buys me chocolate covered cherries to this day for Valentine’s Day. Not going to lie they taste horrible compared to when I was a kid but I will choke down 1-2 just because. I will try anything once but that just doesn’t sound awesome.

Apple pie tamales

Ok wife says the masa for the apple pie ones are flavored with sugar, Mexican vanilla and cinnamon. So now it makes more sense that it tastes like apple pie!
