Great week In Kansas

What a great week in Kansas! This year we went up two weeks later than usual and I have to admit I was a little nervous that we would miss the rut. I was wrong as it was wide open and this was the best hunt I’ve had in the past 6 years up there. What made it even better was my good buddy Matt Nabors tagged out on a great deer the same afternoon as well! We hunted hard all week and both closed it out on the last evening. Memories that will last a lifetime!

That was actually exit hole. He was quartering to me, long story but had to watch him for 5 minutes straight on until he turned enough for ethical shot. Arrow went in right behind front shoulder and he only ran 75 yards.
