Impressive start......will be built better than any factory travel trailer, they are built cheap and not much quality material goes into them.

Couldn't find a pre-fabricated wheel well, so i'm making them myself. Wells are mostly framed. Will water proof the bottoms once i get walls up around them.

Get some roofing tar to coat the wells, it worked really well for me and it is cheap...

Yea!! Got a couple of walls up. I have to build a header across the wheel well and fill in studs, etc. 10-4 on the tar. I'm going to use a conglomeration of felt, sheet metal, and tar. I want the thing as water proof as i can make it.

Depending on the day of the week, i think the weight will be fine; Or, i'm in total panic mode about the weight. I guess we'll see. I'm committed now...

Walls finished for the most part. Got the walls plumbed and squared today. Built the passenger side wheel well and wall section. Need to build the drivers side wheel well and wall section. Then it's time to put on the roof.

Curious how you plan to anchor it? I know me I'd get on highway and It'd blow over
