Built this one for long range shooting. Sighted in at 100 yards and then when out to 330 yards with Wolf ammo. This group was 10 shots and 10 on paper at the 330 yards. Got to hot outside so called it a day.
I finally landed my revolver unicorn! After a 3 year search I got connected with a guy that had this beautiful S&W 14-5. It's built from the ground up as a target pistol, .38spl, full lug barrel, combat finger grips, smooth target trigger, target hammer and blacked out rear and partridge front sights.. I'd say it's 95-96% condition, which I like cause I get to shoot it.. a lot! I found one other 14-5 in my search but it was unfired and way too collectible to be in my safe! I can't wait to get this pistol out on the range! I love it!

Well, since the finds came out of my paycheck "technically" I bought it, but over the weekend the wife and one of her girlfriends went to a local "Build an AR" workshop, bought a mess of parts and proceeded to build their own weapons. Only thing I had to add was a LaRue optic mount to get the Aimpoint high enough to use. She was quite proud of herself that she built it on her own (with the help of a gunsmith hosting the workshop of course).
