Apparently, 4counts of failure to pay federal income tax is a misdemeanor and misdemeanors do not require immediate termination. Too bad because Dallas County could have rid themselves of John Wiley years ago if it did.

The only reason he is in federal is because it is the IRS....He at least is not a criminal involved in crimes against others... 6 months seems ridiculous for non payment of taxes plus the 1 year probation...why not just confiscate his salary?
