Still a little-lot jaded about not pursuing realmuto more ..but Tucker was the deal breaker...
Honestly ..have to say..ive made arguments on why that still wouldve been a good trade.. but stros got a lot of stock on him and think hes either franchise or worth a helluva lot more than a top catcher than can pound the ball...
Now..to see if they do something about gonzo...

Assuming you’re talking about Marwin as “Gonzo”

He won’t be with the Astros next year. We already traded for Diaz. We have plans to make him the new Marwin. Marwin was great. Wouldn’t have won the WS without him. But Diaz is a better business decision that sets us up well. Cheaper and arguably better. And cheap is good if we hope to extend Cole and/or Verlander as well as Springer, Correa, etc.
