    Tailgate Stop

My dad is always thinking of ways to make things a little easier and today he came up with another one , THE TAILGATE STOP ,lol.

He enjoys wood working and when hauling lumber for his projects he came up with this concoction. Its designed to keep the tailgate from dropping all the way down so he doesn't have to worry about wood sliding out the back , or anything else for that matter .

Gave me a good chuckle but it works

You should patten that. That could also be used for those trailers whose jack will make contact with your tailgate.

That will work, but FYI when I want my gate to not go down all the way, I unhook my cables and loop them over the pin. It actually keeps it a little higher than his design.

Very nice work.....but...I'd sure grind off the sharp corners. They will catch an arm someday and do serious damage.
