Just curios, why do you call it static tipped? It looks like the tips work to me.
They don't bend/work at all through the draw cycle. And the unstrung profile is one of a serious 'static-tip-ish' bend at the tips. Regardless, I called it that because every search about the RER Arroyo recurve bow refers to it as a static tip. I personally don't really care - it's a great shooting bow.
Very nice looking bow! RER does advertise their bows have static non working tips and when unbraced the tips hook is more radical in appearance. They have long had the reputation of being excellent shooters.
