guadalupe river floatable this weekend????

    The flow where Whitewater is is back below 300 cfs. Here was a post oon FB about 30 min ago. We are going out there tomorrow night for a concert. Their phones may be down still.

      keep the pics coming, i got ahold of them!!!! on hold with them now. The lady told me they ARE NOT FLOATING and I told her that FB says they are and she said well our owner posted that so I guess we are floating

      SHe said the longest float is 3 hours, can u float it twice???

          Yeah the way the horseshoe is you can walk about a half mile and float the shoe all day . My only concern with going way down river is river road is supposedly pretty trashed and they may not have places to pick u up if you get to far down river. They have a great map there and will tell you were to get out.

                Already going back down

                You can see the water residing. It was obviously way above that a few hours ago if you look at the trees and see the ones that have been snapped off. Also look at the water line in the tree to the right that is still standing.

                  Will not be floating the Comal or lower Guadalupe for awhile! Friend of mine pulled an 11 yr old girl out of Guadalupe near common street bridge (in town). She had washed down from Camp Hueco Springs (on river road) and did not know where her parents were!! Please Pray!!

                      Cousin called from New Braunfels and said they had a tornado whip through there. Don't know how accurate the info is, but what he described sounded exactly what the pictures show.

                            i just floated the horseshoe near canyon lake this past weekend and it was perfect. this rain probably is not helping your cause though
