Polly is too heavy on minis. We are going to use a friction coating though.

How heavy does your boat weigh? I know with my wood one the whole thing weighs at least 150. I designed a way, to where if I did my math right it could have a poly bottom and weigh closer to 90 depending on motor weight.

one of the coolest builds on here, I wish I had the skills to undertake something like this.

I know you probably mentioned it early on, but what HP motor are you running? Would a 35hp be enough, or too much?

35 would be plenty. We are running 22.

Get with these guys. They'll design your prop for exactly what will work best for your application.

Buy the Ultra-Prop from Competition Aircraft, the designer and manufacturer of high performance composite propellers for ultralights, hovercraft, airboats, trikes, PPG’s, and gyrocopters.

What kind of friction coating? You see I got this new non-caloric silicon-based kitchen lubricant my company has been working on. It creates a surface 500 times more slippery than any cooking oil.

Do you think that a 12' with a 35hp would be sufficient for two people?

                            I would go 4 or 5 x 10.
