How bad are the yotes? If they are bad you may want to get some good lights and at least see if you can get a trail on him

S The arrow broke off about on inch behind the broadhead. Do ya'll think he will die? If the arrow would have went through it would have taken out both lungs. I know this because I saw exactly where I hit him.

Are you saying you had 1 inch of penetration? Or, something else?

Did he run away with a limp or dragging a leg? In certain cases, you might have a better odds of recovery if you keep him up and moving, if he's leaving a blood trail. Once he beds down and it clots up, you'll need a dog to find it.

I'm with Jeff. Did you get the off shoulder or the close one? If you got the close shoulder and only 3" of penetration then he probably will make it.

Maybe I didn't word it right. I am very upset right now. About three inches where the arrow broke off. He was quarting away a little bit. Instead of aiming back I wanted to hit him through both lungs and come out the other side in front of his shoulder. They do not go far when hit like that. I am worried that it went into his shoulder blade on the crease.
