Just talked to the guide that I have to meet for the two meetings. He is super nice and is going to bring a few maps to show us some stuff. His first area is the exact area we were already headed to but he said every few years they just aren't there. He also has a back up area that he said is a lot steeper and higher that seems to always hold bulls.

I think plans have already changed. I was doh t to use my chase points to book a hotel in El Paso. Well apparently you can't do that the day of. So I decided to go out through Roswell and stop at the inn of the mountain gods casino and hotel. It looks awesome and I can play a few hours of poker tonight when I get there. Hunts can't be all work and no fun [emoji23]

DIY New Mexico Gila Elk
Alright guys I just pulled into Ruidoso. I left my shop west of Weatherford and made it in 6.5 hours [emoji15]I called ahead and the casino was wanting 190$ for a room so I pulled in to the Laquita. I dropped all my stuff off and made the 10 min drive to play a little poker. They have a really cool little bar/restaurant so I'm grabbing some wings and a beer before playing cards. I am drinking a Marble double white that is awesome. I'll head back to the room at 12 or so to get some sleep.
I talked to the guide that I have to meet tomorrow and we are meeting st 11am. He actually is going to give me some really good info and from the way he talks I should have a really good hunt
