Got My YO Ranch Axis Buck back!

My Axis buck from the YO Ranch area hunt was delivered yesterday. First of all, I have to give a "shout out" to Derek & the Crew over at Woodbury Taxidermy for doing an incredible job on this deer. He's my best Axis ever (just over 36" main beams with good eye guards). The shot was a perfect 25 yard heart shot and only a 30 yard tracking job. Just like it's supposed to be, right LOL? Anyway, 2014 was really a Dream Season for me. He's the last of three trophy animals taken in 2014: 36" Axis, 31" Velvet Axis and 190 1/8" 13-pt WT! I think I've been demoted to only hunting "trophy" does, spikes & pigs because I'm running out of wall space . But...Let's just see what the 2015 season brings us...which is just a short 3 months away!
