Thanks Brother! I didn't expect that in Devers. There is some good deer out there for sure but I've only seen this non typical deer twice in the 12-15 years I've been on it.!

Great Devers buck. I just got on a lease in Devers this year and really have no idea what to expect. Your post gives me more hope.

I've been out there for 12-15 years I guess. There are some really good deer just hard to hunt. Too many people running around all the time and the hogs were so bad last year. Let me give you a tip if you don't mind! If you put up a feeder plan on making that a pig hunting spot. The hogs will take it over and the deer will hardly ever eat out of it at least in the daylight anyway. Hand corn the areas you want to hunt and the deer will be there. The flood really helped us out with the hog population this year though. I shot one sow with a bow and only saw one boar during opening weekend.
