I converted an old Sweeney feeder this summer as well. I was concerned about the pigs moving it around, so I put some stake pockets on each corner.

Looks great, I have found that making one central hookup point underneath with some 1/4"x1.5" flat strap and an eye bolt, and anchoring it down like a tower blind makes them pretty **** sturdy to anything.

anyone use these on a lease that has cows? I figure they would work, just have to anchor them down. Maybe 1/2 T-post on each corner or dig a hole for a little concrete anchor. I believe I am going to try to make a couple, trying to upgrade anyway to an 85 Gal barrels. Getting a little older and I am out by myself a lot, this would be a lot safer way...
