    Deer Dog Recoveries 2013-2014

I figured we needed a new thread for this years dog work.
For alot of us, the tracking has become as much fun as the hunting.
I love checking in every Monday and reading about the recoveries and all the good dog work.
As for my team we are setting on go.

I have a dog I'm going to try out for the first time this year. She has all the potential in the world but never been on the real deal. So I hope I get to post on here her work. Good luck to y'all that already have a jam up dog.

I've been working with 2 black mouth/Catahoula male pups, that are about 5 months but I don’t know if they’re going to make the cut. They just don't really have any drive. I'm hoping that they get more excited when I put them on a real track.

I'm looking to put my dog on some live trails this year. If you hunt in the Georgetown area and kill a deer I'd like to run him on some easy trails to see if I can get him more interested. Feel free to call me at 512-818-2609. He only got to run one trail last year on a doe that was a single lung shot and he did great. He just needs more practice.
