    Fire stick or Android box?

Don't know much about either. Which one has the most bang for the buck?

I have several Firesticks and they are great, but I like my Fire TV the most. I like being able to have a wired data connection.

Firesticks only use wifi. FireTV you can use an ethernet cable.

I prefer my FireTV too. It is a little more powerful. Do you have amazon prime?

To keep it simple pretty much what Jtrage said. The Fire TV has twice the RAM and an SD slot. If you have fast internet and the tv will be near your router the wireless connection will be fine for streaming. I prefer hardwire since I'm in a large home and all we watch is streaming, so I want to ensure I have the best connection possible.

Fire TV all the way. Spend a little extra and get the most bang for your buck.

If you know somebody who can jailbreak a firestick, you'll never pay for a channel or show again.

Remotes crapping out on the firestick is apparently an issue. Mine quit and Amazon says 2-5 months to get another.

Wow that's the first I've heard of that. I've had 6 fire sticks for several years with no issues... I'm sure I just jinxed myself.

I don't know. That's a great question. Try asking the Google.
